Rug reflects the need for comfort in a space cluttered with mixed emotions. Upon relocating to my parent’s home and losing access to my studio space due to COVID-19, I lost all senses of warmth and security. By creating a piece meant to live on the floor I invite myself and my audience to feel grounded and safe wherever they may be.
