Tucker McCann uses photography, printmaking, and sculpture to create imagery of intimate space and distance. These works suggest paranoia and viewer’s looking over someone’s shoulder in order to tackle discomfort and isolation. McCann’s sparse and solitary work leads viewers to consider their own parameters for comfort.

Watching Me (series)

Intaligio prints

2019

$100 each

Watching Me is the result of an introspective understanding of the pressures and paranoia of the people and the world around us. Using photos as a starting point, McCann creates prints that capture the minimal essence of the moment. As humans, we often try to ignore pressure and discomfort present in everyday life, but with this series, McCann insists on the viewer's acknowledgement.
